Pastor’s Reflection
Technology is not only artificial intelligence, smartphones, or computers. It is also the hammer in a toolbox, the printing press that carried Reformation ideas, and the systems we use without thinking about them. That means technology is already part of our lives of faith.
The temptation is to pull a Jonah: complain, withdraw, and let someone else deal with the questions. But faith for real life calls us to stay in the conversation. We do not need instant answers. We can ask what a tool does for us, to us, to our neighbors, and to creation. Grace gives us room to learn, and love keeps the neighbor at the center.

From Sunday’s Message
Technology is more than phones, screens, and AI; it includes the tools and systems that shape daily life. Like Jonah, we may be tempted to complain and withdraw when change makes us uncomfortable. Pastor Hartman invites us instead to stay in the conversation and ask four faith-shaped questions.
Weekly spiritual practice: Choose one technology you use regularly. Ask what it is doing for you, to you, to your neighbor, and to creation. Write down one faithful next step.

Prayer Requests
Please pray for people who feel alone, those whose work or community is being disrupted by technological change, everyone carrying illness or grief, and those without someone to pray for them.
