Pastor’s Reflection
“Just 15 more minutes.” I know how easily those words become a habit when I am scrolling. On Sunday, I asked a question I need as much as anyone: Who is forming us?
God’s mercy meets us before we get our habits right. From that place of grace, we can notice where our attention goes and make room for Scripture, prayer, and our neighbors.
This week, choose one moment when you usually scroll. Pause for five minutes, read Romans 12:1–2, pray for one neighbor, and offer that person your attention through a conversation or thoughtful act. Keep the tools you need available. If you miss a day, begin again in grace.
Helping people follow Jesus in real life—questions, doubts, and all! No pretending. Just real faith for real life.

Life at New Spirit

Please pray for those who are ill, grieving, lonely, or waiting for answers; for caregivers; and for neighbors who need food or safe shelter. Remember those without someone to pray for them.
